Trading the Monte.......
I bought this car almost a year ago ('03 SS) and have almost put 3K miles on it.
I simply have no need for a car, I can't tow my boat or fit enough supplies for a week long camping trip with the kids, or yank my 4 wheeler and dirtbike around.
Don't get me wrong... The car is great, I really like it.
So I'm looking at a used Duramax. It's an '01 with under 60k..... I've read that some models Duramax have injector problems? So what year, or better yet... which model of the Duramax to avoid? There is also an '04 with 68k and less options for more money.
My goal is to have ONE vehicle in my driveway.

/we only have 4 vehicles. I'm looking to get a 5th, and maybe even a 6th. I want a diesel station wagon.
As for the Duramax problems, they were the early ones, but I can't tell you off hand what years. Betting that's why the earlier one is a better deal, cuz it really isnt.

Sorry to hear you're unhappy with the Monte. Hope you find the vehicle you're looking for.
hmmmm, we had a Geo Metro when my son was little (up to about 10 or 11 yrs old). We crammed corn, tent, coleman stove, ice chest, guns, clothes, bedding, kid, dog (boxer) and us into it. Not sure how, but we did. LOL
And this didn't include the guns they carried for everyday use. (sorry becky)
