i have a feeling that its because the people on this forum tend to be a bit older (no offense) which means that they have full time jobs, houses, familys to take care of.
im not sure on your mirage forum but those cars might tend to be driven by younger people.

A lot of the members come and go. There is a core of us here that stick around. Many are on other forums also, both larger and smaller, such as Chevytalk. The thing that keeps me here is the family friendlyness here. Nobody calling people jerks or worse, and no bashing. We WELCOME the young and old. Those with Montes or those DREAMING about owning a Monte Carlo. Everyone is welcome, and I hope everyone feels welcome here. We have a wide range of ages here, with several frequent posters being students, but most of us here are older. I've met several of the members, and the age range if pretty well balanced.

i work 40 hrs a week when im not in school and with side projects at nite and a motorcycle to work on and a girlfriend...i barely find time for anything but i come on and help when i can, and we used to b alot busier b4 the forum crashed

I think the reason that we are not bombed with a lot of posts is
that very few members have problems with the
AweSome Chevrolet Monte Carlo 
A well cared for Monte Carlo is Bullet-Proof, but there are
a few members that do post with problems. Most have
been abused by previous owners [X(]
We have been waiting for a new member like you to invigorate
the MCF with new Topics, and additional information on
the Monte Carlo : )
We have a great core membership, with many members having
a great knowledge on the Monte Carlo, and share
they time/life/knowledge with members in need.
(Exception: Kid Space only knows what he finds on the
Web & post : ), just ask CowBoy 
`David, really look forward to your future contributions to
the Monte Carlo Family. We hope you become a super active
member. Thanks for posting. It did solicit some great
posts by the members.
