Tint Shop Scartched My Window
#61
Rick I am glad everything worked out for you. Just as an FYI it is common practice to cut the tint on the outside of the glass and then install it on the inside. I saw the scratches on your door glass and can positively say that didn't happen with a razor blade which is what the techs use to cut the tint film. Either something fell against your car or it was a belt buckle or a tool in the some ones pocket that did that.
Incidentally when I bring my car for service which doesn't happen often because I do most of my own work, but when I do bring it for service I do one of the following: stand in the shop with the tech if permitted in the shop, stand outside by the shop door and watch my car or I am at the window watching. My car usually doesn't leave my sight.

glad this was sorted out and glad the owner handled your issue well. Obviously if the guy who installed your tint was fired, that says a LOT about it.
And thanks for keeping us updated!
