Well hubby did it, he went and got a speeding ticket in my Monte, 75 in a 60. In all fairness to the Monte, he thought he was in a 70 mph zone, everyone else was running 75 also. Told hubby the officer must've been a Kyle Busch fan since he picked my baby to stop out of all the other cars, or maybe he drove a Mustang or Honda as his personal car. His patrole car was a Charger. I'm surprised one of us hasn't gotten one sooner in it, it's sooo easy to speed in it without realizing it.

 

Should've told him he was doing time trials. Obviously a Furd guy.

 

 

I know, I know, Space,but I don't drive in heavy traffic and we were going to Ft Worth.

It's going to cost almost as much to keep it off our insurance as it would be to pay it, but I guess off the insurance would be cheaper in the long run. Court fees 107, driving record 12, defensive driving 25 = 144. Pay ticket 170 + insurance increase I'm sure. So I guess he get's to sit in front of the computer for 6 hours to take the online course or he and our son can go take the class together since he also has one to get rid of (except he was doing 89 in a 65, why?, because everyone else was - tell that to the cops, it was probably that Honda with all those decals on the window )

 

Maybe there's some truth to the joke I made in the other thread. Maybe decals, stripes and badges do make a car more powerful. Sorry Becky.

how DARE HE!! that is just propostrus!! I can not tell you how many cars i see on the side of the road OUT OF GAS!!! at least if your going to speed DONT GET CAUGHT!! even if they do ask why. tell them the truth the gas peddel was sticking and he was trying to free it and your now going to take it in to get it fixed!!glad all is good. also i agree take the course. at leas tyou have that as a option with a CDL it dont matter what your driving in TX. you have to pay the fine or fight it
