Now are both her kidneys having problems? As I understand, the human body can survive fine with one kidney. If both are failing and she has a rare blood type, she may want to turn to her family and see if anyone is a suitable donor for a kidney (I believe a friend of mine did that for her mom).

She's the type of person who keeps things to herself. Very private and closed off. She didn't even want family to know what's going on with her because she doesn't want people to cry and get all upset over her. It's not something she wants, instead she feels that if she pushes everyone to a safe distance it will keep them calm and she won't feel so stressed about it.

Different people handle illness and tragedy differently. When you have to face these types of things at a young age you don't always do the logical thing. Some want to try to handle it alone.

EXACTLY I'm glad someone other than me understands what I'm saying. Nobody I've told this to understands at all, they just think she's being selfish

There are certain times in life when it is appropriate to be selfish if that is the right term. I would prefer to use the term "It's All About Me". A few of those times are your birthday, graduation, special presentation, wedding, child birth, illness, and death. Being self absorbed or being the center of attention is appropriate during these times in your life. At least in my opinion.

So it's been 4 days since I last heard from her, I've sent her text messages, an email on Facebook, tried to call her, hell even checked Shazam to see if she has tagged any songs recently and there hasn't been anything from her in the past 4 days.
This makes me very worried that something has happened to her.
