Good advice, had mine replaced for the first time since new about 3 years back, the mechanic said it was nasty.
Just ordered the water deflector today too, after I read where you said it would lead to bigger problems figured it was time to get her done. Never a problem yet, but thats the best time to do something, before there is a problem
