<HEADER class=header>Replacing a Cabin Air Filter in a Monte Carlo

Some models of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo are equipped with a cabin air filter that traps pollen, dust and other allergens to prevent them from entering the passenger compartment. Chevrolet recommends replacing the cabin filter on the Monte Carlo every 10,000 miles or once a year. Driving in heavy traffic or dusty conditions can cause the cabin filter to become dirty more quickly. A dirty cabin air filter is not as effective at keeping the air clean, and it will also cause the air conditioning motor to have to work harder to provide air flow.
