here's the stuff you're thinking of... I know the Home Depot's around me sell it...

http://www.ucoatit.com/main.htm

That stuff looks pretty cool. I have a friend who bought a few cans of black Herculiner roll on truck bed liner and coated his garage floor with it. He useda can of red toput a bowtie on the floor. His wife also was upset when he did that, but all he hastodo is put another coat of the black over it and it will cover it. Looked pretty cool. They've since sold the house, and the new owner turned out to be a chevy person as well, so he kept the bowtie on the floor.

in illinois they use any excuse at all to pull you over(at least me they do). i've been popped for no front plate before.so i choose to run it but i hate it. I've even got it for having a clear cover on my plates, they said there was a glare and it restricted teir view of the plate and sticker. talk about B/S.

i have had one on all of my cars. as far as the covers.
the front plates is nto a real big deal to me as i have always lived in a states that didnt have one. except for the two years i lived in Ok (schooling)

but even then becuse the car was plated in a diffrent state that requierd it i had to run it.
I jus tlike the front ends better with out the front plate.

i will have to run it for a while anyway as i have to figure out wher ethe cover has got off two i knew where it was before we moved and packed everythgi up
