Default A New Camaro SS and a move to Seatle, Wa.

Hello and Good Sunday to all the MCF Family!

I've been taking the Mrs. to Cruise Nights, and she went with me to the Charter Box Meet and Great. She had a great time. Love photographing the cars.
And she loved meeting the attendees, Keane, James, Ryan, Devin and Anne. Sorry Devin, if I got your girls name wrong. Mo told me That's her name.
Anyways, since Mo and I have been going to these Meets and Cruises, she is becoming Very interested in cars. This morning I woke up to, "Honey, if we move to Seattle we can have a Garage where you can work on your 89 Monte SS and I can Keep my new Camaro SS with all the home parts and the matching LED lights!" So now she wants a Camaro SS. YELLOW and Customized. And she wants to move back to Seattle Wa. That part I understand. She wants to be closer to her parents and her grand children. But what have I done. She doesn't want any nice car to hook up, she wants a V8 powered Chevy Muscle Car. And did I mention Yellow? She has Also been planning for us to hit every Classic and hopped up car show that comes up. Wow, I mean, I like it but..... I've seen that many of you here have multiple Hot Cars in your driveways. I guess that means there can be more than o e car enthusiast in the house. I'm just so used to being The only one. 2 of my sons are. But they live AWAY from me. I Love the new Camaro and would be Happy to have one in my garage. But I can see her wanting a Classic too. Basicly my complaint is, More cars for me to work on and Keep running. I'll be needing 3 jobs and an twin to Keep up.

So I wanna know, How many of you have spouses with Nice, Classic, or Sports cars and do they get down and greasy with you to Keep them running?

hey buddy! close, it's Amanda!
it's always nice when your other half gets into cars!
Amanda got into cars when i started too, she enjoys going to car shows and loves hanging out with our monte family whenever we get the chance!
I let her drive my 06SS and she was hooked and now has her own beast 5.3L 08 Impala SS which both her and I just started to recently do our own oil changes and brakes ect.
pretty awesome to have her into cars like i am

My wife has a reasonable interest in cars. She likes "go fast parts" like any of us. And she likes a good sounding exhaust. As much of a Chevy guy as I am, I have a wife who her car of choice is a Mustang. But her everyday driver is an Impala.

Jeez...Anne, huh.... Devin may have some 'splainin to do

I've had the most fun in a long time just hanging out with the Monte crew. Car shows, cruise ins, or just meets. Doesn't matter, we always have fun. It gives us something to do and keeps the laughs coming. I'm already super exited for GM Nationals next year! Lol. And I really do have a genuine interest in cars; I can't wait to learn more. I wish I had been this into cars about 8 years ago; I would have gone to school for auto body. I would love to be able to restore my own classic car, or even just be able to fix my own paint chips and dings; making cars pretty :p

Yup....

Thanks guys, I like it that she is learning. Driving back from my mom's she pointed out the Chargers, Mustangs and every Camaro No matter what year. It's a good thing, I just gotta put "I like it" + "It's a good thing" together to make Happiness! After all, I'll be sharing me passion with one whom I am passionat about! What better way to spend ones life?
So I've vented enough, Thanks for reading and responding! Amanda, Sorry for the name mess up, I got it now. Nice car, the 03 I use to drive never looked like that!

Lizzy (My wife) Is not a huge fan of cars, hotrods, etc...
She did however, enjoy going to the Meet and Greet!

As you all know she is the Lone driver of the 2003 custom sierra...

I know she likes it... But I don't think... she thinks... Its anything Special?
Me personally.. I think its BadAzz! Its a 1 of a Kind for sure and its Immaculate inside and out! Definitely Car show ready at any given Moment!
As far as I know her only involvement with cars, hotrods, car shows exposer has only been with me.... After all she is a farm girl...
That is to say she was raised in a small town up north... So, I guess her exposer was obviously minimal at best... But, I am slowly trying to convert her!

Jenna doesn't care too much about cars. She just likes the creature comforts and wants me to work on them. She doesn't bother learning all about how they work.

My wife likes having a nice car and likes to look at classics but she has no interest in having anything custom on her car and would never work on it either. That all falls under my job description. If i told her she needed to change her own oil she would be on her way to the instant oil change.
