It's like just last month was july. LOL

I've been so busy it's almost scarey how much of the year is over.

Went to the last cruise-in, in downtown Germantown, OH the weekend of on 08/17/2013. Took the '86 LS Monte. A very nice day in this part of Ohio. Got a few compliments on the car. One woman asked if it was an Olds? I explained it was an '86 Monte Carlo LS.

This past saturday was the annual cruise in dowtown Eaton, OH. Took the '57 Chevy Handyman 2-door Wagon. Got there about 1pm and they already had 200 plus cars parked. For a cruise-in that's not suppose to start till 3 pm. We got a spot close to the court house. There's a bar on the corner we use the bathrooms. Super nice weather that day.

Before long car show season 2013 will be winding down. And ol' man winter will be snapping at my heals. I'm not a cold weather person.

 

It's amazing how time flies man!! I have sadly been Monte-less most this summer, which really bugs me.

This weekend, my little town of Mentor on the Lake is having a small car show. I hope to have the Monte there.... We shall see....

I know what you mean RJ. June and July have been a blur for me. So much happening all at once. And didn't really get a chance to relax and enjoy the summer weather.

 

This summer has gone by so fast. Feels like I haven't had the chance to do anything this year

 

Tell me about it Chris. I still have a long list of things that should have been done months ago. How about all of you out there? How's your checklist going?

 

I think the having to move has really changed how this summer went.
I should be driving my Monte by now

 

 

By the time I get my Monte running 100%, I'm going to probably have to park it for the winter

This summer has gone by WAY too fast.

 

It seems like only yesterday,
That the Mrs and I were planning our vacation.... It has come and gone..

It will be winter before we know it... Now, The last meet and greet is just around the corner... A sure sign... Summer is over!

Remember when you use to have summer vacation when school let out?
Summer seemed like it was an eternity!

Of course now that I'm older,

I only see this strangeness Winter and Construction!

 

I know what you mean David. When I was in school, summer vacation seemed like forever. Not anymore though. But then again, now the back to school sales start in July. WTF??? Let the kids enjoy their vacation. Sheesh!
