well, the ticket was only a mere 70.00... which is actually 56 bottles of corona... or 152 cans of coors light... or... yea, I can go on. College gets you good at math. I told my rents about it... since its my first one, and that its only 5 over, and unlike the others cars I didn't get a possession or an open bottle (ouch) so they are going to pay for the raise of insurance if/when it happens. I have to pick up the ticket. Looks like im done drinking till after finals in a month.

 

My first speeding ticket was 77/55 when i was 16.That was in 1971. Lost my license for 30 days. Eleven months later I did it again doing 79/55. Lost `em again this time for 90 days. Now I`m quite road savvy. Never got another ticket till 1998. Going to Charlotte for the weekend of the nascar races in October. Trooper pulls me over, and asks " Where ya headed Dale? The race track?" Had a Dale E sticker on the quarterpanel glass. I go yes sir. I`m smiling the whole time. He grins and gives me a ticket for exceeding a safe speed. Lucked out again. Tells me "I hope you win this weekend." I say we`ll do our best with my best grin. LOL. Ya know what, when I saw him I was doing 80 plus in a 55. Helova thing that day.
