Hmm, that's strange -- it's been a quiet few days; normally by now we would've gotten the latest weather report from Detroit, at least... you OK over there?

Yes, all good up here. Staying warm. Busy with work, home renovations and car show planning. I'm assisting a guy with planning an all GM Gathering in West Michigan this summer so starting that took up a lot of my free time earlier this week. And we are at 7 Montes registered for MMCC's Spring Meet.
18 degrees this morning and warming up to near 40 today, 43 tomorrow and almost 50 on Sunday. Then back into the 20s next week. So typical up and down crap. Was hoping to get the Monte out in March sometime, weather permitting, to start the exhaust work process so that's quickly approaching.
Here's my latest progress on our bathroom renovation. Wall paint is done, doing finishing details right now and can install the base trim anytime. The vanity will be getting refinished in white.

I hate winter. So since last Monday been on the road with Mrs Bickerson. She got this wild idea we needed to go south for a few days.
I have to admit we saw some kool stuff. Once home I will put up some pictures.
In Waco Texas we had to see these Silos made famous by the TV show called Fixer upper.
we took a guided tour of Waco. Then we had to see someone one who does metal work. Called Jimmy Don. So we got a few metal cut out stuff. Then it was photo time. So JD says I look familiar. Turns out he was a Dale fan So had to take photos too This one lady wanted to take a photo with me and her. Before JD. lol.
So tonite a blizzard is going on. I am in a hotel south of home abo150 yet to go. Maybe tomorrow. Stay safe.

Good morning guys.
Since yesterday morning it's been brutal and super windy with off-and-on snow - winds are still holding on a bit this morning with lingering lake effect snow showers. We had gusts up to 61 mph yesterday - highest gust I've seen reported in Michigan was 70 mph in Au Gres. Northern Michigan is in a blizzard warning - Otsego Co. actually shut down I-75 yesterday due to severe conditions. And the Mackinac Bridge was shut down two separate times yesterday - the first due to falling ice from the towers and cables (pic below - truck's windshield was smashed in when a piece of ice came down) and the second late afternoon for high winds and severe whiteout conditions.
The bridge has since reopened but is currently in a 'wind escort' for high profile vehicles. The North bridge cam looking south as of 7:24 this morning.

Well what ya know! made back home and the drive wasn't to bad yesterday. Some of the roads were pretty ugly for sure.
We had an overnite in McPhearson Ks. and then started out in the AM about 9:30 the sun was out and I drove so it wasn't as scary as if Mrs. Bickerson was driving.
Visited the South Fork Ranch in Texas and got a photo with Sue Ellen

Good morning guys.
5 degrees this morning and 0.5" of snow overnight. Looking like another 2-3" overnight tonight into tomorrow morning.
My sister shared this picture of one of her boyfriend's friends who lives up in Marquette, Michigan . They've gotten 87" of snow just this month so far and the winds have been crazy the past few days.

Well the weather has definitely run amok for sure. the forecast for March is kind of ugly as well. I should have stayed down south another week or more. For those of you who might recall the TV show Dallas we visited the Ranch last week.

Good morning from the snowy mitten. We got about 2" overnight and it's still coming down - expecting another 1" or so today before it tapers off this afternoon. Made it to work but it was slow and the last 5-7 miles was really rough. I'm over this stuff and am ready for spring.
