i see cars that from the outside look just like that everytime i go to the drag strip. our track guys NEVER inspect your car... your on your own.. you can look back in the racing section and see where i was racing some one at our local drag strip and his right side wheel flew off and his car came over in my lane about 40' in front of me.

 

Well if the track isn't inspecting the cars/trucks using the track then yes, they should be fined.

Someone get's injured by the track owner's stupidity and you'll see new ruels go in to affect in ahurry.

 

just becuse they dont have shinny paint dont mean they are not safe.
I raced for over two years with one of my montes in nothing but primmer. and chrom wheels.

but i made sure it was safe for me to run .
Some of this is also the drivers fault to. he should have made sure his car was race ready. But yes the track should have inspected his car also.
