It sux that you are getting rid of your Monte, but i know that things chance and that sometimes includes cars.

Got a few calls from some dealers and looked at another T.A. today but it has seen better days...They wanted 10,900 for the car and it had 90K and the brakes and rotors were so bad with rust from sitting for so long, the rear hatch was kinda bent and the front had been changed Im guessing from a collision? Anyways I told her I had found a better one with lower miles and better paint color (black ). It was terrible....I'm going to look at a WS6 on sat.

WS6! I want one. Adam got rid of his Monte for a yellow 30th edition, I'm slightly jealous. I've been feeling the same way about the Monte but I ended up keeping the Monte and bought an '87 Porsche 944 that's in sweet shape plus I can swap in an LS1 in the next few years.

Yea Garrett, I talk to Adam all the time and I know what you mean, his car is SSSSSWeet. He found a good deal on it and he is planning on doing a trip down this way next summer and I think i'd have my Trans Am by then and we are gonna go to Florida. Who knows, maybe meet up with you Floridians, there are quite a few of you guys on here....

Sorry I've been gone so long but in my search for a new car I came to my senses and decided to keep the ole Monte. But I am going car searching tmrw and I came across one that caught my interest which is an 83 Z28 with true duals, longtube headers, mild cam, edlebrock intake manifold, Holly carb and 350 c.i. just to name a few If it sparks my interest then Im going to get the beast on Monday after work. It's red with t tops and the Z28 hood.

Camaros\Tans Ams are fun to play with for sure. I have an 02 Z28 with many mods, and it is a blast to drive. It mostly sits in my garage these days. If you get one I would find a daily driver car, and drive the hotrod on the weekends, days off etc.

Glad to hear the Monte is going to stay, and you'll have a toy to play with also. I had an '84 Z38. The only Camaro I've owned. We have the '07 Solstice GXP as our play car.
