Sounds like fun, glad its all ok. Minor damage is better then it coming through your windshield.

Here is a photo of the damage. You can see the crack and the scrapes it left on the bumper cover as well as what is left of the black plastic support clipped to the bottom of the bumper beam. And the mangled fog light bracket which is all rusted out anyway.

glad you're okay, shoulda snatched that rack off the deer and thrown it on the front of the monte haha

Glad to hear your ok and that the car didn't sustain any serious damage.

I know all about this feeling too much. I hit a deer back in 2007 with my 03. I wasn't so lucky...

No kidding.

Matt, glad you're okay. Sucks that the Monte got damaged like that. But it could've been much worse. Really says something about those 5th gens, and your driving skills. The aerodynamically curved front bumper came in handy. A front bumper that is lower to the ground would've been toast.

Any plans to patch up the crack in the bumper cover? Maybe checking junk yards for a good used one? Or just forget about it?
