Default I just hit a deer with my monte and wow

I just hit a deer while driving earlier tonight. Its starts snowing pretty heavily and im about ten miles out of town doing 40 in a 50 when out of nowhere a deer runs himself into my drivers side fender. Im thinking oh great the one time i take my monte out this month and this is what happens! I get home pull in the garage and expect a expect a damaged fender. What did I find? My fender sustained absolutely no damage from the dear! No Ding or anything! I looked for 15 minutes under flourescent lighting looking for any imperfection in the fender and couldnt find any! WOW! I know my 96 monte was a solid automobile but i honestly wasnt expecting my 01 to be as solid. Again WOW!

That's great news. The stylized fenders provide extra structural integrity! But how is the deer?

haha, I've had that happen 3 times now. Isn't it amazing how they just smack off?

The most I had was a large snot line down the side of the car that I washed off.

Tasty with some barbeque sauce. Nice and tenderized.

I've almost put dents in my fenders and doors by leaning against them. I'm surprised by how easily these cars dent. However, maybe it was because of the summer heat when I did it? Maybe you got lucky because of the cooler weather?

Juniorcar: Lolz The deer was probably freaked out, freaked me out thats for sure!
Budsjlm: I agree plastic cars suck my buddy hit a deer with his firebird at about the same speed i hit it and he had to replace the bumper the fender and the headlight assembly!
Taz: I think cause it was cooler and the roads were getting slick was the main reason i avoided any damage. When that deer hit me it slid me into the other lane a little bit lolz.
Blacksheep: Dang that happened to you three times? lolz

LOL What a wise *** remark! Definately not where I was going with that, but you caught me off guard with that one and I had to laugh

Budsjlm's Saturn fender is pretty neat! Not much left to work with, but a little Bondo should fix that right up

Thats good that there was no damage. We have a Ford escape in the shop right now that hit a deer. 10,000 in damage on the initial estimate, probably about 2,000 more after the supplement.
