as the title says i finally hit my first deer ever last night in my DD cavalier, busted up the head light, bumper, hood, fender, and door. i got an estimate today and there saying $3,200 to fix it. now im waiting to hear from my insurance to see if it will be fixed or totaled. im hoping they total it but the odds are against me since it only has 59,000 miles on it they will probably fix the turd.

 

My fiancee actually got her 02 cavalier priced at 8,995 when she was in an accident last year.

You just might get that car fixed :p

u better start knocking on some wood dude, i was just saying about 2 weeks ago to my co workers how ive never hit a deer in my life yet and then bam here i am!

 

I've had 3 deer hit my Monte, none have done any damage

One hit my car and left a snot streak down the whole passenger side, it was so gross to wash off.

 

I've only hit 1 and I din't get any damage - it was on the highway and I was in the far left lane - a semi hit it first (in the back) and bounced it around into me.

 

i am pritty sure thats about the same as what happened to me last year

saturns don't bend tho they just explode! i would hate to hit one now that i have a monte as a DD

 

Well that's not as bad as it could've been... I've seen deer do MUCH worse.
