Ok I am driving home after taking wifey out to eat. Some guy in a newer Doge Pickup running some type of performance exhaust is trolling along side me. We take off from an even start and I nailed him bad. He does it again and same result he got himself embarrassed. The guy want a third go round but by this time I lost interest and we where approaching the Ingham county Sheriff office I ignored him and he bugged out.

I wasn't intentionally hunting RAM but he got into my cross hairs

 

Take 'em as they come. I guarantee he thought you had a V6 and obviously didn't know what he was up against. NOBODY knows these cars have the V8. So many people come up to me at shows and cruise-ins and ask me about that. I guess everyone just assumes GM continued putting the V6 in them. 06-07 SS's are sleepers.

 

I know Matt... I have had guys at car shows ask me how hard was it to fit the v8 in. They hardly believe me when I tell them that is the way it came from the factory

Tadd , Nice I a guy come up to me at the store .Says he has a 2000 monte an he wished GM would have installed a V8 in that body .. I told him they did in 2006 & 2007 .. He said no they didn't . I had to walk away .LOL

Yep, I've had people ask me the exact same thing with mine. People's reactions are entertaining, that's for sure. That and the way some people will just stand at the front of the car baffled and confused looking as all hell. Haha, it's great.

I've had people tell me the same thing.

I'm just saying... regarding the 7th Gens lol.

 

It's always fun beating someone that underestimates you, especially the guys that have the trucks that are "all-that"

I always have people ask if I have the supercharged engine, because that's the only engine they thought came with it. I always just have to shake my head and say "I wish"
