Default Camaro Frame

Anyone know the dimensions of the third generation (1982-1992) and fourth generation (1993-2002) camaro frames?

They are not full frame cars. They are unibody. So it might be rough to get those dimensions.....
In all the data I have on my 3rd gen, I don't think I have anything that shows frame measurements.

Can I ask what you're up to??

I always thought the third gens were body on frame? I guess I never closely looked at them. As for the monte that is rwd, he did an ls1 swap into it.

Nope.... They have a unibody structure. They do have an engine cradle (I believe referred to as a K-Member). Then it has some frame pieces that weld to the body on the front and back.

Below is an OLD pic from when we changed the floor pans on my Camaro. This was after we got the old passenger side floor pan liberated from the body. That curvy piece with the read arrow is all you have to a front frame. There is a matching one on the driverside. there were two members like that on the back. They are actually welded to the floor pan. This is why in the 3rd and 4th gen F-bodies, rotted rocker panels are a HUGE structure problem. And if you doors don't hold right only make things worse on the body.

As part of my Camaro restoration plans, I have UMI Performance subframe connectors I will be adding (making the car dang close to a full frame car).
