I've heard that the new V-6 is bad ***. I heard that it will smoke the old 5.0 and probably the 4.6 that was in the previous Mustangs. I'd give one a try.

 

I like the 05-09 models - they totally ruined the look of the back on the newer stangs with those stupid looking tail lights.

 

a member on here traded his 06 monte SS for a v-6 stang....he seems pretty happy with it

 

agreed i think everyone in my area hates the rear of them

 

the tail lights would be better if they were the same shape as the 05's. they looks cool with the reverse lights between the tail light bars. its just the shape but i think everyone has already established that

my sister has an 07 v6 in vista blue. its an alright car. infact, i almost bought one before i got the Monte. it was metallic grey with black leather interior and it had a flat black spoiler with those matching black window luvers. it looked really cool. but... it got sold before i got to it. IT WAS FATE

i remember reading when the current gen came out, that the 05-09's were modeled after the Mustangs from the 60's and the current models are made after the 70's.

lets pray they dont try for an 80's remake

 

I actually hate the rear end of the 05-09 and like the new refreshed model with their blinking Christmas tail lights. The front end is lightyears ahead of the 05. Those 05 Headlight look awful. Everything looks cleaner and sleeker now. I'm not by any means a Mustang fan but I'll take one of them laser blue-like v6 any day.
