They have to, there isn't a lip on the wheel to put the clip on kind on.

I'm not sure if GM still does that anymore. I want to say they use the static weights inside the rim on the more expensive models. But I'm not sure. Anyone know for sure?
EXACTLY.... what the problem is with the wheels on the Pace car. Corrosion from the wheel weights on the outside of the rims.

Now I'm pissed. Why? Cause this '09 Impala is slightly more then I still owe on my 2006 Monte Carlo.

I can't wait til mine is paid off.
2 more years.

On topic, post entire pics of your Intimidator.
Exhaust tips... were they like that when you bought it, or something you chose?

I know what you mean RJ. I felt the same way when I was paying off my Monte. I just finished paying mine off last month.

That 09 Impala is nice, but it's not your Monte. Your Monte is your Monte. You put all the time, money, and effort into your Monte to make it truely yours.

Most of us go through that. But most of us wouldn't want to give up our Monte (or other car you own) for just anything that's available and cheap. Most of the people here that have sold their Monte, did it either out of necessity or because they moved up.

And my '06 LTZ has 15,300 miles on it right now. That has to count for something?

It sure would if a dealer had their hands on it.

I'm seriously considering. When the '06 is paid for, looking for a decent used Challenger. Man those are nice cars.

Only problem is, no place to park the Challenger inside if I did find one I could afford. TOO many cars. lol

You got that RIGHT!!! You have NOOOOO idea how bad they peel. I have so much black goo sealing my tires it's just nasty! And around the valve stems it's ALL just so ugly!

Keep them away from salt, and for that matter, keep ANY chrome wheel away from salt.

That is exactly what I am going to do. The 05 will be paid off probably in 9 months, then in another year I will be shopping around for a good low mile used Challenger RT for my DD.

Right now, I LOVE my Monte. My '04 Monte and I have a love affair similar to the one I have with my '84 Z28. But, push comes to shove, the Z28 wins (even though right now it's in "restore mode" and is a bunch of dreams at the moment).

I've been lucky, I bought my Monte in '08 all in cash, no payments. And to date, I paid more for the Monte then any other car I've owned (the no payment is all the fruits of planning ahead and saving for it). I hope to keep ALL future cars in my fleet with no payments (or very SMALL payments).
