Hey! Thanks for adding me. I have a 2001 Monte Carlo LS, but is looking more like an SS. I have always loved this body style and finally traded for one on Craigslist. I have the typical electrical problems most other people have, but am replacing parts a little at a time to get it where I want it. This is one of the easiest cars I've ever worked on. So far, replaced rear sway bar, bushings, links, rear strut assemblies, rear tires, throttle body, thermostat, spark plugs, ignition switch, and hazard switch. I love the way it rides and handles. Things I am replacing in near future include new front drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads, repair rocker panels (rust), maybe a new paint job (keeping it red), and I need to replace air conditioning compressor and receiver/drier. Hope condenser is good,but may just replace everything since I plan to keep this ride. Had an issue with turn signals not working intermittently, and found that flasher/turn signal relay is actually part of hazard switch. Just a nice to know thing. I look forward to sharing stuff on here.
