Default Road Salt V.S. Rain

So generally, how does it take to have the rain wash (or how much rain) doed it take to wash the salt off the orads to a safer level?

It all depends on the area you live haha.

Some roads are built with a slight arch, so once rain hits them, the water will rush to the sides taking all the salt with it... some roads are flat and everything just puddles so the salt doesn't really go anywhere (except on other cars) Generally in the Poconos I used to have to wait until late April / May before the roads were clean after a rain, but in Philly it seems most of the roads are fine already

Lick the road, if it tastes salty it's still salty. It's truly the only way. Sorry.

I know they dumped a big pile of salt in the middle of our street and after all that rain we had, some of it is still there.

usually after on good rain it is all gone here, but maybe not the case this year, still tons of sand and cap everywhere
