Just got a 2004 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged Intimidador
If he's not lowering the price keep looking. Eventually he'll lower the price or he'll end up not selling it.
$10,000 for that car with 55,000 miles speaking for myself I would pay $10,000. But that's just me someone else on here might not feel the same way. The reason I would pay $10,000 is because of the low mileage on the car, it looks to be in really go shape especially the engine area of the car and looks like everything is all stock. Unlike mine that has been torn into by the previous owner. By torn into I mean the wiring has been cut instead of buying the adapter for the aftermarket stereo and speakers. There's an extra wire that looks like it was used to power an amplifier that's left over from from his ****ty ****ty wiring job.
job. First I would definitely let a mechanical do an all point inspection on it.

I grew up in a car dealership, been changing oil when i was 10 at my fathers place, built motor for my 67 mustang GT and drag raced in the 70s,went through my Dale car it needed work but payed 4k for it with 89k miles on it...i wonder about tranny fluid being changed..i usually do my own when i get something new..fun for me..55k is a time for things to be fixed .like brakes.struts ..i dont even know if he will take 10..its been on for 2 months now.
A quick search on google for Monte Carlo SS Intimidator brought up a bunch of Intimidator's for sale accross the country. Including this one in Davenport, Iowa.

Most likely you're going to have to travel to get the best condition car for the money but they are out there. Good luck.

IMO thats a BIG stretch. I just looked at that listing and theyve got it up for $17k. Being that he didn't even bother to counter your $8k offer, I'd highly doubt they'll come all the way down to 10.
If he really wanted to move the car, he'd be coming down off the 17k to get some interest but he doesn't even appear to be doing that.
I wouldnt count on them going under 15 even TBH.
That is bizarre, especially for a dealer. Obviously waxing it isn't a big deal, but it would make me worried theyre trying to hide imperfections from a wreck/ repaint or sun fading or something by doing that.

Who ever took the pics for this listing does NOT know what they are doing. The car was NOT dried. So you can clearly see it needs wax or a ceramic coat
