I have a 1995 mc z34 3.4 engine... I just put in a new thermostat and water pump... where should the temp gauge run around??? Where do other owners' run at? I feel mine runs cold at about a quarter to 1/3 of the way up..

Please help

 

my 99 Z34 runs on the cold side also, it's been up for discussion and it seems that the 5th gen Montes just run on the cool side..... Lately though since it's been high 70's to low 80's out I've been halfway. It does worry me because I have 143,000 miles but it hasn't got past halfway.......

Thanks! Such a quick reply! My 95 has 140,000 and I got it with 134,000... so I was worried it differs from 1/4-1/2 at random times

 

Mine would normally run between 1/3 and 3/4 - 3/4 of the way up there was on hot days. (this was when I had a 3100)

Now mine runs at 1/3 which is about 180-185 degrees.
