I wasn't offended? I just thought it would be better if we both know were each others abilities stand. I know you know about locks, and I believe that you have good car knowledge as well. This way we know how technical we can/or have to get with one another.

This morning the car started fine. Not sure weather that was because it was not as cold this morning or because I walked out of the house a half hr early just in case it acted stupid.

I'm going to find out this w/e how much it will be to have the lock cylinder rebuilt. I may still do the bypass. I have Remote start that I can't use because of this. And it's nice to have in the Winter.
I've got a couple of other prices to get. Things that should have been repaired a while ago but you have to prioritize when doing a vertical restore on a budget.
Thanks for the info, you learned me something and I am always looking to learn something!
