Angry Engine trouble

Hi, I have a 2006 SS that only has 50k miles. A week ago my check engine light came on and it started running ruff. when i took it in to the dealer for repairs, I was told 2 of my spark plugs had the ends burnt off and the where coated in burnt oil. They told me I needed a new oil pan gasket and plugs and wires replaced but the didnt guarantee that would fix the problem.
My question is, what does my oil pan gasket have to do with the spark plugs? I wasn't leaking oil.
What else could be wrong with it?
1300 dollars out of pocket with out a guarantee.

Oil Pan gaskets are common failure points on this car. It's not necessarily related to the plugs, but they noticed the pan was probably filthy and looked into it while on the lift.

What fuel do you use in your LS4?

Spark plugs also aren't always a set mileage point, they also recommend being changed about every 6 years, which a 2006 would be doubled the average life expectancy.

Old plugs, improper heat range, improper gap, detonation or a lean mixture/vacuum leak can all cause the electrodes to burn off. I would have the car towed to a reputable shop for diagnosis. If the electrodes are burning off they are in the cylinder and will score the walls. An inspection camera and flex handle magnet can retrieve them without having to remove the heads.
