anyone else on here whose first car was a monte carlo and their fathers first car was also a monte carlo
i have my 1997 ls and my dad had a 78 with a 350 i believe both of our cars sat in a yard for a few years of neglect before we got them too leads me to wonder what my grandfather who passed away in 2007 had as a first car knowing he was a chevy guy im personally a ford guy no offense

 

Not in my case, but my father and his two brothers were both owners of 1st and 2nd gen Camaros (and one of them later an owner of a 4th gen Camaro). My second car was a 3rd gen Camaro (after they all had there Camaros).... Does that count?

OH and my dad got rid of his 2nd gen Camaro when I was expected.....

My dad owned a 86 Monte Carlo SS, my sis owned a 95 Monte LS and my mom owned a 72 Nova SS.

So with this Monte, I make the third member to own a Monte and the third member to own a SS.

That is about as close as I can come :P

 

Not here but my first car is my monte ss,mom had a 72 chevelle with a 350,and dad owned many muscle cars,..not sure on his first though..

 

My mom and dad both owned 2 diff 87 SS's. I now have an 04 ss

 

My dads first car was an old ford pickup & the first vehicle I drove was a 87 ford pickup but my first official car was a svt focus

 

Welcome! My dad had a scout and still does.. My mom likes what ever is "fancy" lol. She has a chrysler 300, I think it looks like an egg. :P

 

No idea what my father had for a first car. We don't talk. My first car was a mopar. Welcome to the forum.

 

it wasn't my dad's first car, but he did have a 1st gen. Not sure which year it was, but still kind of cool.
