While Dad is out....
My parents went out of town for the weekend so I didn't have much time but he has an old 82 F100 with a 302 V8. It hasn't been running in a while and his carb that was in it went to hell... So after searching around for hours on end I finally found the last part to get it running again and I found it on craigslist from a guy down the road. Needless to say, she runs like a beast again so he'll get a good suprise when he gets home tmrw

WOW! You guys are AWESOME! A Bonneville AND a pickem'up truck worked on for your parents. I'm proud of you guys!
I've had 3 F__d trucks. 1st was a '61 uni-body with a 428 police interceptor at about 500 hp, the 2nd was a '76 4x4 hi-boy, 390 4bbl, 4 spd. Wrapped that one around a tree on ice. The last was an '86 hd 4x4 351 auto. THAT was the vehicle that made me switch to GM. I CONSTANTLY worked on that truck, and NEVER got over 11 mpg with it. We got 204K on this '99 Silverado Z71, and she STILL purrs GREAT, and about 18-20 mpg all day long.
