hi all, came across this forum while looking up monte carlo in google and hit this lil jackpot of a site .... some great info and cars here!!!!\
Anyways , on with introductions...... im a newfie living in Regina,SK and just recently got my Silver 05 Monte Carlo LS... and i love it.
I work full time as an automotive painter, so i'd be glad to help out with any questions in that area. ive read many conflicting paint job questions here regarding prices and such. be happy to calify anything if i can
i do plan on doing a 2-tone on my car in the summer, tho still using photoshop to map out my scheme. silver bottom, black pearl top. (pics below!!)
ill add my pretty stock MC pick soon, all i have done so far is paint the taillights to match with circles cut out

Welcome to the forum. A lot of us found this sight because of google. Including me.
I really like the black and silver with red stripe. Although the hood design on the orange/silver/black looks damn cool!
Before painting though, I would put a spoiler on the trunk first. A spoiler would really complete the look of the car with your custom paint job.
Good job on your tails!

Welcome to the site - I also like the second one because that color combo is really cool with the black red and silver.

thanks for the replies and input
im leaning towards the black/silver t-tone aswell.. ill also use the same scheme as the orange for the hood too!!...
as for the spoiler, i absolutly agree!!!. i m just waiting until i can get a used one from SGI (sask. gov't insurance),
i have also managed to salvage the lower skirts from a written off Monte SS that came through our shop :P ijust have to d o a bit of bodywork on em to freshen em up ( gouges and rock chipped up) and of course paint to match my car
oh yeah..that hood design with the blue flames and SS is really sweet!!!!!
