Saved this to my android phone so I wil be able to take it outside with me tomorrow when I clean the MAF sensor. First picture I was able to get of this.(Thanks to chibiBlackSheep) Maybe this will help others out too. Let you guys know how it turns out tomorrow.

 

Also check all your vacuum lines for cracks and breaks as well as loose fit. Also check the egr valve. Welcome to the MCF.

My brother took my Monte and manually shifted it, letting it run up to 21-2200 rpms. This finally kicked the light on and sure enough there were some stored codes. I would have never thought of doing that. Lol. It took him trying this 3-4 times but it did work. Computers can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Anyway, looks to be the MAF sensor and I had a cool temp sensor bad too.117,000 miles and this is the first thing that's gone wrong.... I would say that's a pretty good track record. Love my Monte!!!
