[quote=Cowboy6622;473484]Do people not read my rundown or just chose to ignore it? I'm not too fond of this Johnson pick this week.... but, hey, as far as I'm concerned, it just makes you easier for me to beat

Thats so true. 48 goofs up you will make a great point week IF you yourself dont fall to pieces!!!! LOL!!!! The point being though. If 48 comes through it could put you out for the year. OR. Close the gap considerably. I think its more fun the more people are close in points at the top.

Are the facts too confusing or am I too confusing?

Rick did win our last restricter plate race at Talladega here on the MCF NASCAR Fantasy.

I totally missed the conversation on boots when I posted my picks LOL. I always wear boots unless it's so ungodly hot at work that I have to wear shorts. My feet have always hated regular shoes but are much more comfortable. They might get a little stinkier at the end of the day, but that can be cleaned. My feet aren't going to hurt any less just because they smell good, and after 10-12 hours on my feet, it's a splitting pain if I'm wearing shoes. So generally it's either cowboy boots or combat boots for me.

Here are your "Classic NASCAR" pictures of the day........

Today, celebrate the spoils of victory!! Kind of like how we as Uh-Merikans are celebrating the spoils of victory today....

This picture isn't the July race... but the Daytona 500. Cale Yarborough won the 10th annual Daytona 500!!

And here are a few photos of one of my favorite drivers from the time, that Lee Roy Yarbrough Torino that won the 1969 Firecracker 400 with those rear exiting exhaust pipes!!!

Back then, the cars were tough enough to give the crew a ride to victory lane...

And Lee Roy only smooched with his wife in victory lane, leaving the beauty queens without much to do...

But Richard Petty, on the other hand.... enjoyed all the spoils of the 1971 Daytona 500 win.

And then this famous photo of David Pearson in victory lane after the 1976 Daytona 500.... after he and Petty had their crash coming to the finish line on the last lap.
