well i started up my monte and he display light came on and the TRAC light came on and the abs light, i drove it maybe 15 minutes and the abs display light stayed on and tracc light , the wierd thing is i got to my destination, left,parked the monte,a couple hours later i had to leave again and was expecting the same thing,but nothing happened no more warning lights nothing,that was a week ago i drive a 2005 monte LS

 

I've been having the same problem. The only thing you can do that I found, was an error in the PCM. Basically replace it. I have checked every wire under my hood and removed all wire loom to see if I could find an exposed wire, checked the fuel system form the take to the front, all possible electrical grounds, and even ran a few diagnostic tests with a programer. I will bet that if you can get your hands on a good code reader you will find a PCM link misfailure in past history codes. This is as much as I know on the problem, I have been trying to find an answer to this myself...Next week the computer gets delivered and in my 01' MC SS. I hope that solves it?! Don't know but am out of idea's....
