Default Wet carpet, not from air intake or sun roof

Hello,
I'm new here, and just picked up a well used 02 Monte SS. was surprised to see how much water was under the carpet. After searching the forum, I checked the drain for the sunroof, blowing it out with compressed air and pouring water down them from a bottle of water. I also pulled the seal over the air intake below the passenger side of the front window, cleaned it and siliconed it back in place. I drove it today without the carpet while it drys out in the garage and once again had water on the floor after the heavy rain here in KC. Are there any other common areas for me to check for leaks? It looked like water might be coming in around the door just under the speaker.

I've got water on both sides, and it doesn't look like it's coming from the firewall area.

My guess would be the door seals. My drivers side leaks once in a while if it rains hard. I don't want to spend the money to replace them tho.

Is the water only showing on the passenger side of the car? If so, this might just be the BEST advise for any and all W-Body cars (did it to my Monte after I had the problem AND did it to the wife's Impala before it had a problem). Also, dirt cheap, $4 part from the DEALER!

Pull out the rubber on the bottom of the doors. They sometimes get caked with dirt and clog.

I had the drivers door panel off and poured water over the window, quite a bit ran out from under the plastic liner and into the car. I ordered replacement weather stripping for the door at the window line from gmpartsdirect. I hope this fixes the problem. I've verified that the problem isn't coming from the cowl area, but ordered the water redirector for it also just in case. I've had the car for two weeks, and have been sick almost ever since with an upper respiratory issue, have a feeling that driving this thing with all that water that has been in there for who knows how long is the reason. The carpet and it's padding has been drying out in my garage for the last few days. Going to blast it with lots of lysol. I'll probably have to take up some of the sound deadener on the floor also, I could see water going under it in some of the channels. As soon as I know the issue is fixed, I'll put down some dynomat and put the carpet back in.
