Default Weird electrical glitch

I have a 2004 Dale Jr. Lately I've noticed that when I open either door, two yellow lights on the heat/air controls flash for a second. I think its the first one and the last one. Its the ones along the bottom of the controls. Has anyone ever seen this happen or knows what could be causing it.?

I've had that happen too. I'm not sure what causes it, but I'm happy that I'm not seeing things.. On mine it looks like the 1st and the 3rd lights flash. Maybe it's a sign that the computer is waking up.. Or the car is possessed, lol.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one to see it either. I've noticed since I posted this that sometimes all of the lights flash when I open the door. It might mean the heat/AC panel has a problem.

When I first bought the car, sometimes when I started the car, the lights would come on and stay on and the AC and blower motor would be on. These things were not on when I shut the car off the time before. This hasn't happened in awhile though. I guess I'm not going to worry about it until something quits for good.

its a problem inside the BCM sorry to give you guys the really bad news. if thats the only problem your all experiencing, cross your fingers and be aware that the BCM may just stop working at anytime and thats when the tow truck comes.

Well, I guess that its good that I have AAA then. What are some of the other symptoms of the BCM going out.?

It's possible that your interior lights might not want to come on when you open the doors. I've had that happen a couple of times, particularly with the passenger side door. Freaking annoying if it happens at night! It goes away if you close and open the door, or open the driver's side door. It hasn't happened in a while though. Also, I've had the doors lock and unlock on me too by themselves. I'll be in Park, changing the radio, turning on the AC, etc. when all of a sudden, my doors lock and unlock themselves. Sometimes I feel my car likes to mess with me..
If this starts happening on a regular basis, then I'll change out the BCM.

I've yet to have anything happen with the radio, AC, windows or headlights yet.
