Hi, I also had this problem on my 01 Monte. For me it was a simple fix. There is a small hole in the ottom back sides of the door that allows the water to drain out. It gets clogged with leaves and such. Just take a small screwdriver or rigid wire and poke it up in there and clear the blockage. That's all mine was, took me a while to figure it out. Hope that does it for you.

 

I have a 2006 Monte Carlo ss, just found my carpet was wet on the passenger side door. My friend said he felt a warm liquid drop on his foot at one point. Need help, thanks!

 

I know this has been gone over a lot. I have cured the leak for the doors thanks to the great information from this forum. I still seem to have a small amount of water in the area circled. I tried running a hose on the windshield for a few minutes and didn't get any water then. emergency plumber in Wellingborough I don't see anywhere it could be dripping when I look up in that area. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had a leak coming from that area. Thank you!
