my door full of water?

Default my door full of water?

okay so when i got in my car(2001 monte carlo LS) after work i went to get in and i hear water sloshing around in my door it wasnt alot but u can hear it. it rained really hard for about a hour so im not sure whats going on it rains alot here(florida) but i havnt had water in my door like that does anyone know how to fix this? it doesnt get inside the car so thats a + but i do have alpine speakers and head unit i dont want those to get messed up if the wires or speaker get soaked in water. let me know if theres anything that might help


PS there is no water in my passenger door!

The drain holes on the bottom of the door are clogged up. There are either 2 or 3 drain holes. Clean them out and the water will drain out.

dale3goodwrench: so water is supposed to get into the door like that? do u have a good way to clean it out? its kinda hard to get to the holes couse the seal on the bottom of the door is in the way

take off the inner door panel, it will be ALOT easier to get in the door and get a vacuum in there

Yep......Your Drain holes are definitely clogged. If you don't get them cleaned out you will have to buy a new window channel and Window motor/regulator. I had to, because my Drivers door too was full of water after a hard rain. But I have only owned the car a month......who knows how long they have been clogged. Btw, My speaker doesn't work all the time either.
