Hi, I also had this problem on my 01 Monte. For me it was a simple fix. There is a small hole in the ottom back sides of the door that allows the water to drain out. It gets clogged with leaves and such. Just take a small screwdriver or rigid wire and poke it up in there and clear the blockage. That's all mine was, took me a while to figure it out. Hope that does it for you.

I have a 2006 Monte Carlo ss, just found my carpet was wet on the passenger side door. My friend said he felt a warm liquid drop on his foot at one point. Need help, thanks!
