Default Vehicle computer errors

Recently i had issues with my Monte Carlo. We found that the temperature sensor was unplugged and we plugged it up to find out. After that, it went downhill. it begin misfiring, it is loading up fuel and now it won't even crank unless the sensor is in it. everything is telling me that this is a computer issues but i don't have the mechanics knowledge or experience to really make a solid decision. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this or at least get it running and on the road, let me know

IMO I think it's unlikely the computer itself is bad. It's not impossible, but that's probably item 10 on the list for a cylinder misfire.

TBH, I think you're going to have to take it to a mechanic. If you've got no way to read the sensors and dont have the mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot, then its going to be tough to work through. We dont have near enough info to help at the moment.

This is true. Could be anything from low compression to simple spark plug.
not to mention misfire code could be limited to 1 cyl or random multiple or misfire on startup(1st 1000 revolutions). Which is way code read would be first stop to see where to start looking.
