Default turn signal help

ok so my girlfriends 2000 ls has been having turn signal problems for a while. It started out they wouldn't work randomly but if you turned the flashers on with the signal then back off they would. eventually that stopped working so now she has no signals at all. Any ideas?

Check the fuses.
Replace the Flasher with a new one. They're cheap.
Pray it ain't the Switch, 'cause that Switch Assy is a wallet-breaking moe-foe!
See if you can find a used one if the Switch is bad.

You can remove the Switch without removing the Steering Wheel. I used a Small Torx Bit epoxied into the closed end of a small box wrench. Bingo.

They can be under or in the stearing colum. It is a real PITA to get at if thats where it is on your car.
