Default Transmission vacuum modulator valve location

I have a 2004 MC LS 3.4L, automatic tranny, and like the title says I'm having trouble locating the tranny modulator valve. I've looked it up and down, but I'm not sure if it's behind a heat shield or some kind of housing. If someone could please point me in the right direction (a picture would be even better, haha) I would be very grateful. Thanks. Great site by the way.

Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family...
I'm not a transmission tech, but I did a search for a vacum modulator valve, and could not find it in my search...

Are you rebuilding your trans ? What is your transmission doing ? Please post as much information as you can about your problem..

Check back to see if any of our expert transmission member's can assist with your thread question...

It won't start unless you give it gas and hold it above 1k rpm. Almost no power on take off, hard shifts, poor gas mileage. I've tried everything. PCV valve, MAF sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, checked hoses for vacuum leaks, etc. I had a Cadillac with the exact same symptoms and this ended up being the culprit. Here's the part, now I just need to find where to put it. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...S_176267840___
