Tips/Tricks on 3100/3400 LIM gasket replacement

Thanks Everyone got it done this weekend, driving it today to get the coolant system blead good, also used a ratchet strap from the alt lift point bracket to the core suport to rock the engine forward to pull all the rear crap off,
sad thing is it's got 113k on it but the insides are nasty it deffiniatly need to find my friend seafoam!

Valve ticking in the 3100/3400 is normal, a light ticking is expected. Are you noticing any lose of coolant??
As for the stumble, could be time for new plugs/wires (I think you were discussing doing that in a different thread). If that doesn't do it, make sure fuel/air filters are new. After that, I'd look into testing the coils and injectors. I don't have an injector test (but a shop with a GM Tech II scan tool can test them).

When I replace the LIM gasket due to oil leaking past the RTV sealant. I was thinking of using the pushrod removal tool to keep from having to retorque the pushrods. As I just have a cheapo torque wrench from Harbor Freight, so not sure how accurate it is. But since the LIM has been replaced before at the dealer, no telling if they torqued the pushrods down properly. But it's got 40k miles on the last LIM gasket replacement.
