Default Switched Wire

Has anyone found a switched wire in these '06-'07 Montes?

It appears that the reason my underglow is no longer functioning right is because I had wired the remote lead to a constant on and that causes the controller to boycott me.

I also currently have my subs hooked up to a toggle switch, and I'll be mounting a rocker switch in the dash or center counsel this summer for it. If no one knows of a wire that I can use as a lead I may just have to do the same for my underglow.

I just got an email from the people that I had ordered a Hayne's manual from, something about a factory mixup and all, but it's in the mail now, I may just have to wait and see if that has any information.

Sup bro I'm guessing your looking for a wire that is only hot when you turn the key. If this is the case than you can hook up your lights the same way I did my interior led light strips. By the way mine is an 06 just like yours. What you need to do is open up the fuse panel in the passenger floorboard and tap into the RAP fuse and run your wire from there so then you lights come on when you turn the key and will stay on like you factory radio when you turn the car off until you open the door. By the way that fuse panel is easyer to access if you take the door sil trim panel off. Hope this helped That fuse is a 10amp and it is all the way at the top kinda by itself.

Okay thanks Josh, I'll have to check that out next time I'm back home with some tools. Dad and I had checked them the first time, maybe we just missed it.

Ya its the only fuse that is not hot all the time, only when you turn the key. And its all the way at the top of the fuse panel box kinda resessed in a little bit above the relays
