your best bet is go to a shop that has a scan tool that is gm tech 2 tool. they will be able to get all of the codes and to check every thing the averege hand held scan tool from autozone and advaneauto will not read every thing. on the second thing it might be a wheel bearing might be going bad as in the sensor in the hub might be going bad. and the whol thing might be neding to be replaced.

i believe from reading up on this problem if you only have the problem seldomly it has to do with your wires or abs module.
you can take it to a shop and they will tell you what wheel it is for a fee. if the shop knows what there doing, they can take a volt/ohm eter and check at different points in the system to see where the problem lies.
ive heard people say b4 that their mechanic couldnt do anything unless the light was on. so GL
personally ive it was me i wouldnt worry about such a random, not permanent problem.
