So here is my situation. I have a 2007 LS and I have just replaced the headlights with the Anzo Halo projectors. I like the look of having just the halos on. If I turn the light dial to the left and then to the right one past auto then just the halos are on when I'm in park. As soon as I put it into gear the low beams come on. I would like to disable the DRLs so that during the day my Halos are used as my running lights and at night the headlights will flick on. I have tried pulling the DRL 1 & DRL 2 fuses but the lights still operate the same. I have also installed HIDs into the headlights and I am using the power sent to the headlights in my driver side headlight to switch relays for controlling the HIDs.

 

you could wire your lights into the park lights and turn your park lights on durring the day. this should dissable the drl's and light up the amber bulb and halo ring if wired into those. hope this helps!

 

oh, and turn your switch after your DRL's are on. so they turn off, that is how it is for my 2000 monte. if you turn the switch first, they light up after its shifted from park

 

i wired mine into the led side markers. umm when there on auto all lights are on, when i switch to parking lights just the halos, side marks and turn signals are on, no headlights.

 

Ya. So I guess my carport doesn't have enouph light for the DRL sensor. Pulling the fuses did work to disable my drls. Still have to look into getting the halos on during the day. mak330 -> I see that you put an intake on your LT.. I have the LS and have only found CAI for the SS. Do you see any improvement? Also the dual exhaust looks really nice. any improvement there?
