Hello, the old brake switch was good, not sure why I installed the new one, but anyway I'm going to check the harness like you said and go from there. I believe the wheel sensor could be the "open" in the circuit. I have new hubs for it, I'm just going to plug them in to see if it clears the code. I have the fsm but can't find all the ground locations, I know it's got to be in there somewhere, correct?

Yes, but there is limited activity on this site due to GM ending the Monte Carlo.
No one here is paid to be online, we all have other things we are engaged in outside of the Internet, but we all try to do what we can, when we can. You have been a member for over 10 years and have only 12 posts, of those 12 posts, 8 are in this thread alone. Not sure how often you log in, but clearly you are not posting much to help other people.

Not all code readers can scan codes from the EBCM (aka the ABS computer). You are best getting one that read that computer, get and post the code retrieved and those of us trying to help can see if we can share something.

Don't worry about the lights, mine have been on for years. I had mine to a dealer awhile back when the Body Control Module went out, and had them scan the abs/trac lights. They said it was in the right front, most likely the sensor and not the hub. I had previously changed the hub trying to find the one making noise (it was in the back) so I put the original one back on, light still on. Most likely the wiring, common with early 00's GM's, I had an 05 Buick that started doing it too.

Try disconnecting ur battery for 15 mins.. mine has about the same amount of miles on it.. last year the roads were icy and tires slipped (not much at all and at slow speed) and my trac lights came on.. put new hubs on and cleared the code a million times.. and last week I unplugged the battery for for awhile to help get to harmonic balancer. Hooked my **** back up and no more trac light.. may be worth a shot.. hopefully that might help..

I believe it's the BCM, as I have no daytime running lights along with brakes lights and no power to the aux/lighter ports. I'll keep you posted when I slap it in and have it programed.

well, the BCM took care of the trac light, but I still have no brake lights or power to the acc/lighter outlets.

Well,it was the fuse block on the passenger side dash. Apparently putting cheap led tail lights burnt 3 fuse connections on the back side of the block, which are connected to 3 fuses under the hood. After 3 months she's back to normal and I can start doing the cool stuff to it like I planned.
