can anyone help me my brake lights dont work but my 3rd lights up, tail and turn signals work
it's not the fuses, not the bulbs, and not the pedal switches

 

try testing the switch that controls your 4 way hazards...some vehicles run the circuit through them, in a few cases ive seem them go bad...not exactly the part you would expect to fail or be the cause...give it a shot

I am curious, would this also effect the third brake light as well? Just a thought..

 

seems logical to me, but who knows, you know how the manufacturers never make things as they should, always gotta be difficult.

 

As we all know from the U-Bend

 

perfect example! Why couldn't they have just done a straight pipe w/some kind of bolt on sheet metal shield or something? I'm sure that would have been more cost effective.

 

im also having this problem on my '95 Z the window brake light works but the one in the spoiler and the regular ones also don't work 4 ways, blinkers and runnin lights all work. im gonna go out and see if i can figure it out but im missin a fuse panel cover on one of the under the hood fuse panels
