6th Gen ('00-'05): Service Trac/ No brake lights....
Hello, I have a service trac light on the dash display. It came on after flooring it off the light. I was told it's the hubs and should just replace them. Also I installed some led brake lights that never really worked, as I have no rear turn signals. After I put the old bulbs back I now have no brake lights, the running lights work and the turn signals do too. Also just realized I have no power to the cigarette & auxiliary outlets. The vehicle has 147000 miles on it and is in really good shape, I probably should have left the old bulbs in it. Thanks

ABS wheel hubs are common for that light to come on. But first, scan the code and verify if it is a speed sensor code.
I have found weird ABS issues can surface with certain changes to the tail lights and 3rd brake light.
Check your fuses and fix your signals.

The fuses are good and the signals work. I have no brake lights or hazard lights. I replaced the hazard switch and the turn signal multi function switch. Waiting for the brake light switch, should be here in the morning. Doesn't explain no power to the auxiliary outlets.
Yes but there are only about 3 'regulars'.
As for the high/low beam. The lows turn off when you switch on the brights. You can hold the multifunction lever back to keep all four on but with normal operation, only one set will be lit at a time.

However, I wouldnt say youre alone. Chances are, your problem has been had by a hundred others. I cant remember how many times a 'Service trac/abs' topic came up. Try the search.
To be fair, this thread hasnt even been up a full day yet. This is a fairly small group - at the moment there are only 3 registered users online across all of the posts in all of the subforums, but that fluctuates up and down through the day.
Does your reader show "body" codes? Not all scan tools do - some are powertrain codes only.
I'm with Maniac - I'd try to get a scan tool that can read all codes if yours doesn't show you're not just randomly replacing stuff.
Did the previous brake switch test bad though? It's possible there is more than one issue on the same circuit.
But it is important to get the wiring diagram out and test this stuff with a multimeter. That'll lead you to the cause.
I'd go back to the brake light harness and check with a meter if it's missing power or ground, then go back upstream to find where the disconnect is.

I just installed the new brake light switch and still have no brake lights. 🤬
