Default Running Hot...

Went to crank her up today, and out of nowhere she starts running hot before I could even get off my street. My question is what are the usual problems with these engines that make them run hot? & just so you know my radiator is full, fans are both working, coolant is fine, and I haven check the thermostat but will in the morning. Thanks in advance.

I would check the T-stat. Sounds like its getting stuck shut.

Do a compression test, your head gasket may be bad.

My monte was running hot last week as well. We replaced the thermostat and topped it off with coolant. You said your coolant is fine, so you should check the thermostat like others above suggested.
