Default running hot???

Hi. I am new here & semi new to my 95 Z34... I had the intake manifold gasket and thermostat replacedand since then my car has been running hot- it cools down at red lights but shoots up to HOT! when I drive the freeway... seems backwards... I have replaced all my fuses and relays and that helped for a day. When I took it back on the freeway it shot up to the red and has been riding the line between white & red and cooling down at stops... anybody else have this problem or know of it? Any suggestions would help. Please and Thank You!

did you bleed the air out of the system after you replaced the gaskets? and if so are you sure the temp sensor is plugged in?

I did make sure it was bled & just to be safe I had it done again... I am not sure if the sensor is plugged in or not but I think it is because I replaced the relays again & it worked for one drive and when I went to test it out again, it ran hot after 2 blocks! My guess is that something is causing the relays to blow...

Welcome to the site. I moved the thread into the engine section to get a better response hopefully.
